He should debut for his new team today - of course if he doesn't sign for another one in the meantime
The biggest spenders at the global level are Chelsea, the most attractive footballers went to Saudi Arabia or the MLS, the Turks remained faithful to the trend of hiring stars whose shine is slowly dying down; however, hardly anyone in the transfer window can surpass the feat carried out by Amr Warda. To many, his name does not mean much, because he built his career in teams outside the "top five" European leagues, but he did something that probably no one has ever done! And the question is whether anyone ever will.
He changed as many as four clubs in just 29 days!

It is hard to understand how he did it, but knowing that he comes from a football-wise shaky area like Egypt explains it to an extent. We are talking about a football player with great individual characteristics and we emphasize, individual. Sometimes he forgets that his teammates are around him, he seems to want to do everything by himself and if he passes in "one-on-one" situations, then he is productive... That is why he got under the skin of the fans in Cyprus and Greece, where he spent most of his career, in order to this summer entered the vortex of the transfer window and came out of it with as many as four contracts in less than a month!
It all started when his contract with Apollon from Limassol expired at the end of last season. He was looking for a new environment for a long time to be promoted on August 11 as a newcomer to Raja Casablanca, one of the most popular clubs in Africa. He stayed in Morocco for less than two weeks, after which the Green Eagles announced that due to missing several training sessions and "personal and mental reasons", Amr terminated the cooperation, after which he was forced to pay money from his own pocket to Raja's account due to premature termination.
He received "clean papers" and returned to Cyprus where he played very well for Apollon and Anorthosis. Everything shown in those clubs (16 goals, 16 assists in two years) allowed him to be invited by Doxa from Katokopia, a small club from the suburbs of the capital Nicosia, whose only mission is to stay in the elite rank. The job was not promising from the beginning, because even though he signed electronically, Warda ended up in the hospital under the pretext that he felt "panic attacks" instead of boarding the flight to Cyprus. Because of this, the leaders of Doxa immediately informed the public that they would cancel the contract. Already on August 24, just a day after the signing, the news that Amr Warda had signed the contract suddenly disappeared from the official website of Doxa, while the media assumed that even the police had intervened, preventing him from entering the country, due to problems with documents, if he appeared on the flight by any case...

That's just one side of the story. The other stems from Doxa's idea to buy a player and resell him. All based on the fact that the first man of Doxa Costas Christodoulou, who was also the player's manager while Amr was in Cyprus, wanted instant money. This became clear when Warda moved to Esteghlal from Tehran.
"We found out that the first man of Doxa, brought Warda for 140,000 euros, and then wanted to sell him to us for 250,000 euros, in order to quickly make a profit of 110,000 euros," said Ali Hatira, the temporary coach of the Iranian club where the winger-midfielder was kept only until August 28.
However, this part of the story is not completely clear, if we assume that he left Raja Casablanca as a free agent, then the question is to whom Doxa wanted to pay 140,000 euros. Again, these are clubs from Cyprus, Morocco, Iran... Who knows what shady deals are in their papers and whether FIFA can clear it up. If they are even interested. Some sources state that Warda demanded to have a private plane at his disposal and, for the conditions in Iran, an "excessive salary".
In any case, towards the end of August, Amr Warda realized that, economically, he would earn more if he returned to the Raja (!?), but the Moroccans no longer wanted him. Due to legal disagreements, the doors of Cyprus and Iran were closed to him. Hence, a return to the homeland was imposed as a solution.

The Egyptian championship started on Monday, and Warda was brought on September 9 to Pharco with the task of being one of the central figures of the championship. He is a star, in Egyptian football standards. He was a member of the national team 30 times, participated in the World Cup in Russia, participated in two final tournaments of the Cup of African Nations, shared the dressing room with Mohamed Salah...
In today's 2-0 win against Future FC, Warda was not even on the list of Pharco players considered. Who knows, maybe he got a more tempting offer this morning.
