Mozzart Sport looks at players who should move away from their current clubs.
The current FKF Premier League season ends in two months' time with the new one set to start in September, in between them will be an off-season transfer window.
Mozzart Sport looks at players who will need to make moves to reboot their careers. These are talented players who should be playing regularly but aren't at the moment because their teams have better players that position are have simply fallen out of favour.
Nicholas Omondi - The former Kibera Black Stars and Kariobangi Sharks man has found game time difficult to come by at Gor Mahia since he moved to the club last season. Looking at Gor's depth in the middle of the park, that's not about to change soon and the Kenya U20 international should consider a change. A move to a team like Mathare United (should they retain their top-flight status) is something the central midfielder should consider at the time of the season.

Michael Madoya- The 2018 Kenyan Premier League MVP has been reduced to a fringe player at Tusker FC. Players like Humphrey Mieno, Jackson Macharia, Faraj Ominde, Kevin Okoth and Apollo Otieno are all ahead of him in the pecking order and it could be time for the former Zoo FC man to make a move to a team like KCB.

Madoya is one of the few midfielders in the FKF PL with that scoring ability and he showed that when he was recalled from the bleachers for the FKF Cup game against Mihuu United where he grabbed a hattrick in the round of 64 game played in February. KCB could be a perfect fit for Madoya, coach Zedekiah Otieno prefers to play with a double pivot and this could give a player like Madoya room to roam, create and score goals.
Martin Nderitu - Zizou as he famously referred to was a key player for KCB when they earned a promotion back to the Kenyan Premier League in 2018. He also flourished under coach Frank Ouna in their first season in the top flight. But since Zedekiah Otieno took over he has been reduced to a squad player who alternates from the subs' bench to the terrace with a rare start in between.

Zizou is a talented attacking midfielder and he may need to leave to progress his career elsewhere. A team like Nairobi City Stars could profit from his immense, underutilized talent.
John Oyemba - Oyemba moved to AFC Leopards at the start of the season with the hope of competing with Benjamin Ochan for that starting slot. So far he is losing as Ochan is regarded as one of the best in the league.
He has been reduced to featuring in Cup matches and deputizing when the Ugandan international is unavailable. Oyemba is undoubtedly talented, was part of the Kenyan team at the 2019 AFCON and at the end of the season, he may need to move in search of regular playtime. Tusker FC is one of the teams that appear not to have a clear first-choice keeper and Oyemba could just nail a place at Tusker.

Faraj Ominde -The 2016 U20 tournament star boy seems to have stagnated in terms of growth. He did well during his time at Chemelil but since he moved to Tusker in June 2018 inadequate playtime seems to have hindered his development. Faraj needs to play week in week out to realize his full potential and he may have to seek that playtime elsewhere. A transfer to a team like Posta Rangers or his former side Kakamega Homeboyz could prove beneficial to his career in the long run.

Boniface Mwangemi - The 2019 National School Games MVP is now a forgotten man since he moved to Kariobangi Sharks. Sharks' back-three preference has seen him condemned to a place among the subs and even when going with a back four, Boniface Onyango is preferred in the left-back position. Mwangemi is undoubtedly very talented and he may need to seek playtime away from Sharks. A loan move to a team like Posta Rangers may be all that he needs right now. He has worked with coach Stanley Okumbi at the Kenya U20 team and a reunion could be of mutual benefit.

Michael Wanyika - Wanyika moved to Bandari in 2018 as Farouk Shikhalo's understudy but when the latter left, Justin Ndikumana was signed and once again Wanyika was left to deputize. He has since dropped to the third choice keeper with Abdalla Matano now deputizing the Burundian international. He is undoubtedly talented and experienced and he may need to seek playtime elsewhere. A team like Mathare United could make good of his experience between the posts.

Elvis Osok - Arguably one of the best young right-backs in the league right now, Osok hasn't seen much playtime since coach Okumbi took over at Posta Rangers. The former national team head coach prefers veteran Simon Mbugua in that position. Osok who can also play as a left-back may need to move and a team like Sofapaka could do well with him in their books.

Sammy Imbuye - Imbuye is a talented young winger who has been reduced to a bench warmer at Sofapaka. He had been converted to right-back last season and was doing well but that since changed and he is now one of the squad players. He is strong, quick, and hardworking and a team like Bidco United could do with his services.
Join us in wishing our own Sammy Imbuye a Happy Birthday.

Lawrence Luvanda - Leopards acquired Luvanda while he was still a schoolboy and loaned him to Vihiga United. He hasn't seen much playtime in the last two year that he has been with the club and he may need to move at the end of the current season. Nzoia is known for giving youngsters a chance and they could be a perfect home for the skilful midfielder.
