Take a train, stun PSG, catch a bus and return home - that's Nantes' itinerary for Saturday

Unlike Paris Saint-Germain, which took a plane to their away match against Nantes, the Canaris took the train for their upcoming Saturday match against PSG in Paris. The Nantes team departed for Paris today and will return by bus after the game.

The underdogs' coach Antoine Kombouare, who used to play for PSG back in the day, announced the decision in a press conference, stating that he did not want to wait for pressure from outside sources to make the decision. 

"I decided that we were going to take the train to Paris. We are very happy to go by train. It will take only 2 hours. We will return by bus. A 3.5-hour bus ride has never killed anyone," Kombouare said.

The decision comes in the wake of criticism directed at PSG for their use of a private plane to travel to Nantes for their previous match. The French club was criticised for its impact on the environment and the high cost of the flight - as well as a follow-up gag by manager Christophe Galtier that the squad would be wind-sailing their way to their next away match. PSG eventually issued an apology for their decision to take the plane and the subsequent comments by Galtier.
