The league entered the second leg on the weekend with Falcons picking a point away to Zetech Sparks in a one-all draw.
Trans Nzoia Falcons head coach Justin Okiring says the team is building a young squad with the aim of fighting for the Women Premier League (WPL) title next season.
The Kitale-based side will have to make do in the second leg without the services of Harambee Starlets forward Violet Nanjala who has since left the side for trials with an unnamed top tier side in Morocco.
Additionally, coach Okiring is preparing for any eventuality as a few other local and international clubs have expressed interest in more of his current players.
As such, the tactician has moved to rope in eight new players, set to be unveiled soon to make up for any players leaving while also on a rebuilding mission.
"This second leg we will target to pick asany points as we can to be in the top five at the end of the season. Therefore, every point we pick is crucial.

While fighting for the title this season will be tough, my main aim for the new signings is to prepare a competitive team for next season. We will use the second leg matches to gel and expose those yet to feature in the top flight so we can have a solid team for next season," offered Okiring.
The tactician acknowledges that the exit of Nanjala has left a gap but was quick to add that they have been in this position before, when the player left for a loan in Vihiga Queens, and they will find an appropriate replacement.
"Our joy is seeing our players moving on and finding better deals out there. This also gives us the motivation to keep producing good players. This will give younger players in the team a chance to prove themselves," added Okiring.
