Harry Kane pens emotional tribute to his former Spurs teammate Heung-min Son upon his Tottenham exit
Harry Kane has paid an emotional tribute to his former Spurs teammate Heung-min Son following his exit from Tottenham and his move to MLS side LAFC.
His transfer was officially confirmed on Wednesday evening, with Son and Tottenham releasing several videos saying goodbye to fans. During his decade-long tenure with Spurs, the Korean formed a special partnership with Kane.
Sonny Sonny Sonny. What can I say. We shared so many magical moments together on and off the pitch over the years. As a person and a player you deserved all the success you’ve enjoyed. One of the very best people in the game.

It gave me such joy to see you lift a trophy last… pic.twitter.com/cDin2BKa4U
After little more than 24 hours after Son's official goodbye, Kane - who scored for Bayern Munich in a 4-0 win over Tottenham on Thursday evening - has taken to his Instagram account to pen a touching message to his old teammate.
"Sonny Sonny Sonny... What can I say," he wrote. "We shared so many magical moments together on and off the pitch over the years. As a person and a player, you deserved all the success you've enjoyed. One of the very best people in the game.
"It gave me such joy to see you lift a trophy last season and no doubt you'll be a success with your next steps. See you soon."
