Marco Rose's side rushed to a 3-0 win against Augsburg, while BVB came from behind to beat Freiburg 4-2
There's no doubt that a rather exciting championship battle is ahead of us in the Bundesliga this season. One of the top contenders for the title are RB Leipzig. Marco Rose's team again demonstrated the class on Saturday against Augsburg, beating them 3-0 at home.
The fixture was wrapped up within 27 minutes, thanks to Leipzig's powerful duo Openda-Simons. The pair exchanged goals and assists in an early blitzkrieg, which saw the hosts going 2-0 up after only 11 minutes.
Simmons is really enjoying life at Leipzig. Say hello, Openda, as well @RBLeipzig_EN https://t.co/L6QPpbtf7M

The Dutchman currently has three goals and four assists to his account, while Openda has scored three goals and assisted once.
Meanwhile, Dortmund were shivering again but managed to come from behind for a substantial 4-2 win. Freiburg were 2-1 up at the interval, but BVB found ways to suppress ten-man underdogs thanks to Matts Hummels' brace.
