Victor Osimhen's Napoli lose to Lazio at home 1-0 on Friday night. This is their first Serie A loss after eight consecutive victories
Every great, every remarkable story sooner or later finds its end, and the miraculous Serie A leaders Napoli have found it tonight at their own ground.
Maurizio Sarri's Lazio shocked the entire Europe by defeating the Neapolitans, thanks to Vecino's second-half screamer. On the other end, Napoli's deadly attacking duo Osimhen-Khvicha were confronted with a fierce rival's defence that prevented them from putting on another show and pushing the home side to the ninth league win in a row.

Today is Maurizio Sarri’s day.
Masterclass performance from Lazio. They made it difficult for Napoli to break them down in the final third. Limited their space and movement was off.

Instead, they suffered their first loss after eight games and the first home defeat after almost a year.
However, they are still 17 points clear of the current runners-up, Lazio, who leapfrogged Inter and Milan with this surprising triumph, at least for a couple of hours.
The former Chelsea gaffer, Sarri, put on sublime tactics, firstly managing to keep Osimhen far away from action before Vecino's missile decided the match with 25 minutes left on the clock.
