Believe it or not, it was 10 December 2023, the last time Bayer Leverkusen failed to win a Bundesliga match. That day, they drew at Stuttgart 1-1, and what followed has been a sensational winning streak of 11 games! At least so far.

The latest one came on Sunday at Freiburg (3-2), reinstating a ten-point lead for Leverkusen at the top of the table. Xabi Alonso's team didn't allow the hosts to stop their brutal run, which has taken them to the brink of the first-ever Bundesliga crown.

Eight rounds are still left, and five victories will surely secure the silverware for the current table toppers. Bayern Munich are ten points below and it's highly unexpected to see Tuchel's side leapfrogging Leverkusen after such a deficit.
