Spain dominated the individual honours after lifting the trophy, while the France captain finished as the leading scorer for the second World Cup in a row
The FIFA World Cup's individual awards reflected the stars who lit up the tournament, with newly crowned champions Spain collecting two of the biggest prizes.
Midfield maestro Rodri was named the tournament's Golden Ball winner (the best player of the tournament) after inspiring La Roja to World Cup glory, while goalkeeper Unai Simon received the Golden Glove award following a string of outstanding performances between the posts. He conceded a single goal throughout the entire tournament, in the quarter-final victory against Belgium (2-1).

La Roja's future also looks bright, with teenage defender Pau Cubarsi taking home the Young Player Award after an outstanding breakthrough campaign.
France captain Kylian Mbappe finished as the tournament's top scorer with 10 goals, earning the Golden Boot for the second consecutive World Cup. However, the Real Madrid striker was not present to collect the award in New Jersey after Argentina's defeat to Spain in the showdown.
