For days, we've been listening to endless debates about whether the controversial Premier League game between Tottenham and Liverpool should see a replay that would set the records straight following a horrible VAR error.
But the Scousers need to move on, or they'll face a harsh awakening in the UEFA Europa League. The UEL returns to the mythical Anfield tonight after more than six years as Liverpool faces the Belgian Union Saint-Gilloise.
The Reds kicked off their Group E campaign with a 3-1 comeback victory against LASK Linz of Austria last month and can assert themselves as favourites to qualify for the next round by winning again this week.
USG are riding high atop the Jupiler Pro League and are no team to be taken lightly, having reached the quarter-finals of this Europe's second-best competition last season.
On the other end, following the disappointment of their controversial EPL defeat, Jurgen Klopp's side is in need of a victory that would raise spirits and morale.
A win on Merseyside will also help ease the pain of that saga. The Reds might be big favourites to celebrate, but the Belgians are not a team to be underestimated.
When it comes to injury issues, Cody Gakpo will be absent after picking up a knee injury during the dramatic loss to Tottenham.
Thiago Alcantara and Stefan Bajcetic are also expected to be out of the squad, while Klopp will likely rotate his side ahead of a trip to Brighton.
That should probably mean Thursday night outings for Darwin Nunez, Ryan Gravenberch, and Harvey Elliott.
