Former United's defender gave his ideas about current squad
Manchester United has not been in such a difficult position for a long time. True, the Red Devils haven't been shining for some time, but it seems the situation is close to the breaking point. What confirms these claims is Ruben Amorim's recent statement that this team might be the worst in United’s history. Perhaps prompted by this remark, even the club's legends have begun showing their discontent and criticizing the Manchester club.
One of them is the legendary Rio Ferdinand. This former defender, who also won the Champions League with United, has attracted attention from fans by commenting on the players he believes must leave in January if the team wants progress and better results. The players Ferdinand mentioned in his own podcast were Rashford, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.
“I think Antony's going, someone said to me, Real Betis or somewhere like that. Just get them out man!' Sorry, no, I'm just being honest. The more these type of guys are around, where there's just a bad noise, they all want to go, they're all happy to go - let's just get them out” he said.

The thing Rio pointed as the main problem is bad energy these players spread.
“You know what it's like, if there's people who are unsettled in there and it's not going to plan and they're not happy, it spreads. It's like a cancerous, bad energy”.
Interestingly, there is a good chance that Ferdinand's wishes will be granted. Namely, negotiations between Red Devils and Real Betis about Antony are almost done, while the connections Rashford have with Dortmund and Milan are nothing new.
