PSG remind everyone who rules in France: Khvicha and Co. trash Nantes

The Saints bounced back after a shocking home defeat to Lyon three days ago, and easily smashed Nantes 3-0 at Parc des Princes

Lens might be one of the most beautiful stories in European football at the moment, but if you ask Paris Saint-Germain, they won't complete the miracle and win the Ligue 1 title. Not as long as the Saints are in charge.

Occasionally, Luis Enrique's men stumble, like three days ago when they lost 2-1 to Olympique Lyon at home, but they know very well how to bounce back after such unpleasant surprises and remind everyone who rules French football.

Today, Nantes came to Parc des Princes, but didn't have a nice time in the capital, being thrashed 3-0.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia ran riot against the relegation strugglers, bagging a brace, while Desire Doue showed what a talent he was.

The Georgian broke the deadlock in the 13th minute from the spot, after a handball in the visitors' box.

Still, Vahid Halihodzic's lads put in some fight before the break, despite being the underdogs. They even scored a leveller through Louis Leroux nine minutes later, but it was ruled out for offside.

In general, they occasionally threatened the Parisians' goalie Matvey Safonov, but once Doue spilled magic and doubled his team's lead with a screamer eight minutes before the break, all Nantes' hopes were crushed.

In the 50th minute, the popular Kvaradona completed a brace, making it 3-0 and putting the cherry on top of PSG's win, which could have been much more convincing.

Given that disheartened visitors were just looking forward to the referee's final whistle, the opportunities in front of their goal were coming one after another.

Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola, and Fabian Ruiz were only some of the home team's players who were close to finding the net, as the woodwork saved Nantes twice in the second half.

This statement victory restored the Saints' four-point advantage over Lens, though nothing is over yet, as there are five more games to be played, and the two teams have yet to face each other on May 13.
