Posta Rangers are unbeaten so far in the league and keeper Samuel Njau has been in scintillating form
Posta Rangers are having a perfect start to the season and are placed first on the log after playing six matches.
The mailmen have not tested defeat in their past six outings, registering five wins and a draw.
Notably, the John Kamau-coached side has registered five clean sheets, all thanks to custodian Samuel Njau, who has been phenomenal between the sticks.
The former Gor Mahia keeper, who had endured a torrid time due to limited playing time during his first season at the club, has revealed that heading to his coach's instructions has been the main factor behind his performance.
"It has been a good run so far, and I attribute my success so far to the team. My head coach and keeper trainer have been at the centre, constantly guiding and urging me to play according to instructions. On the pitch, my fellow teammates have made superb, and we have collectively put in all the effort leading to the positive." Stated Njau.
Njau is happy with his performance and hopes to carry on with the run all through the season.
"I have been putting in a lot of work in training, and I am delighted with my contribution to the team so far. I feel motivated and will put in more work in order to continuously display my impressive performance throughout the season," he added.
Despite Rangers having a solid start, the shot stopper has downplayed his side being title contenders while urging his fellow teammates to keep on working.
"We are simply six matches into the season, and it's really too early to talk of being title favorites. However, I want to urge my fellow teammates not to let the guard down and to keep working hard so that when the right time comes, we can start dreaming of going for glory at the end of the campaign." Njua conclude.
The main men will take on FC Talanta when league action resumes next weekend.
