We plan and God plans, but God is the best of planners, states Leicester City's forward
The news of Enock Mwepu's shocking and premature career end has caused an almost immediate reaction in the entire world of football. Players, coaches, fans... all of them are saying how sad they are for the 24-year-old Zambian player. But one message stands out since it comes from none other than Mwepu's compatriot, lifelong friend and former teammate, Patson Daka.
Leicester City forward went public on social media, addressing Mwepu as his "friend and brother". His message is truly heartbreaking...
"My friend and brother, we started our football journey together and came to England together, it saddens me that we didn't continue together...
"But our captain, as you said, health and family are more important than football. We plan and God plans, but God is the best of planners.
"I wish you all the best for the future and hope to see your continued involvement in Zambian football in a different way, "concluded Daka.
