Former Inter Milan defender Carlos Gamarra, who is in Paris with the Paraguayan men's football team, is outraged with conditions

Various complaints have been made about the issues in the village where the athletes live during the Paris Olympics, such as a shortage of food, poor quality of beds, a lack of privacy, and noise.

And now it has become so blatant that some even claim these are the worst Olympic Games ever.

Carlos Gamarra, the former Inter Milan and Paraguay defender who played at two men's football Olympics tournaments (in Barcelona in 1992 and Athens in 2004), is outraged by the conditions for the athletes in Paris. Gamarra, now a member of his national side's coaching staff, revealed how awful things have been for Paraguayan players and others.

"This is the worst Olympics I have ever seen in my life. The organization is a shame. There is not much food in the village. Some had to eat pizza to sleep yesterday. There is no air conditioning. Many are sleepless," said Gamarra, speaking to ABC Cardinal radio from his home country.
