"Samuel Olwande, who had a torn cartilage on his right ankle underwent a successful surgery yesterday and has been discharged today," said the club on its official website.
The club's physiotherapist John Kemboi said the former Mathare United defender suffered the blow on the eve of the international friendly match against South Sudan.
"He got injured while in the national team camp gearing up for the two international friendlies against South Sudan and Tanzania. He will be out for at least four months," he said.
Olwande was unfortunate to face the knife in October 2018 while attached to Mathare after tearing his right knee meniscus.
Kemboi further revealed that the club's and national U23 Emerging Stars winger Patrick Otieno will resume gym work next week.
The former Nzoia Sugar man went under the knife in February following a torn right knee meniscus. Otieno got injured during their barren draw against Ulinzi Stars in January.
"The wound has already healed and is set to start gym work next week. He is walking with ease and may return to the team ahead of schedule," he added.
