Olunga bags brace as Al Arabi thrash Ibiza in pre-season friendly

Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga was twice on target, on Tuesday evening, for his club Al Arabi in a 5-2 friendly win over Spanish side UD Ibiza in Valencia, Spain.
Olunga, who recently completed his move to the club from Qatari rivals Al Duhail, started the game and bagged a double as he continued with his fine preseason form.

Prior to Tuesday's game, Olunga had found the back of the net in their previous 2-0 win over Club Costa City.
Castillo Cambien opened the scoring for Ibiza in the eighth minute, with Olunga restoring parity six minutes later.
David Pozo then put Ibiza back in the driving seat in the 51st minute, only for Olunga to reply ten minutes later.
Al Arabi engaged a higher gear in the remaining minutes to bag the big win.
They went ahead in the 75th minute through Abdallah Yazan before Isaac Lihadji made it 4-2 three minutes later.
The final nail was delivered by Salem Reda five minutes from time.

The Qatari Stars League season starts on 15th August, with Olunga and his teammates set to face Al Wakrah in their opening match of the season away from home.
Meanwhile, Harambee Stars midfielder Timothy Ouma will be hoping to be involved on Wednesday evening when his side, Lech Poznań, takes on Icelandic club Breiðablik in a UEFA Champions League second qualifying round return leg match in Iceland.
Last week, Poznań moved closer to the third round after demolishing the Icelanders 7-1 in the first leg game played in Poland.
