Pyramids FC will hold a press conference today to announce the new cooperation program and steps in the partnership agreement with Portuguese giants Benfica. This agreement was signed between club presidents Mamdouh Eid and Rui Costa.
In recent days, there have been intensive meetings between the officials of both clubs to develop the new work program and practical steps, which will be announced during the press conference in New Cairo.

The team that finished second in last season's Egyptian Premier League already has a Portuguese head coach in Jaime Pacheco and will not build a bridge with one of the biggest clubs in that European country.
Pyramids FC will be represented at the press conference by sports director Hany Said, commercial director Omar Medhat and director of youth development Moatasem Salem, while the Portuguese will be represented by the former international winger Simao Sabrosa, who currently acts as the director of international relations at the club, and youth development leaders Miguel Reis and David Gomez.
The two clubs have already held a similar ceremony in July at Estadio da Luz in Lisbon. That day, Benfica and Pyramids entered into a twinning and partnership agreement focused on enhancing football talent development. Benfica president Rui Costa was impressed by Pyramids' rapid ascent to the upper echelons of Egyptian and African football in just a few years.
