Wilson Fonseca and Jules Ulimwengu have not reported backfor training. Tito Okello has however returned to the club.
Record FKF Premier League champions, Gor Mahia have intensified training ahead of Wednesday’s rescheduled league match against Wazito FC but it appears like they will have to do without two of their strikers.
The team resumed training last week and by Sunday morning Burundian striker Jules Ulimwengu and Brazilian Wilson Silva were still missing. Ulimwengu is still in Burundi while Silva has since returned home over what he termed as unfulfilled promises.

In an earlier interview with Mozzart Sport, Ulimwengu insisted that he has not ditched Gor Mahia and will only return when football resumes in the country.
“I am still at home but I will endeavor to fly to Kenya immediately the government says it is safe for the league to resume. I am still a Gor Mahia player. I have read news indicating that I have parted ways with the club but may I assure the fans, teammates, and the management that I am committed to serving the club,” he said.
Gor has also been handed a boost after South Sudanese striker Tito Okello who was also said to be angling for a move away from the club resumed training. His return is a massive boost for Coach Vaz Pinto who was readying his team for the match against Wazito without an out-and-out striker.
Chairman Ambrose Rachier in the recent past dismissed speculation that a mass exodus is looming at the club. He admitted that the club was facing financial challenges which they are working towards resolving in order to keep their key players.

After the match against Wazito on Wednesday, Gor will face Nairobi City Stars over the weekend as they look to move up the log and once again Challenge for the league title.
The defending champions have been rather underwhelming this season and currently sit in 8th position with 19 points after 13 rounds of league matches. The team has already 6 out of the 13 matches. The poor run has been pegged on the team’s financial struggles that saw a number of key players like Lawrence Juma, Boniface Omondi and Nicholas Kipkirui move to other teams.
