Amos Nondi's Dila Gori were schooled by Zilina after returning to European competitions after a four year absence.

Former Gor Mahia midfielder Amos Nondi clocked 90 minutes as Dila Gori suffered a 5-1 humiliation at the hands of Slovak side MSK Zilina in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers on Thursday.

Dila were making a return to European competitions after being eliminated by Armenian outfit Shirak in the First Round of the Europa League qualifiers back in the 2016-2017 season.

Nondi sealed a ticket into the Conference League after finishing third in the Georgian National League as they missed out on the title after trailing champions Dinamo Tbilisi by 10 points.

Dila had a torrid start to the game as Zilina needed only six minutes to break the deadlock courtesy of Ghanian defender Benson Anang after being fed by Jakub Paur.

Zilina capitalized on their opening dominance and doubled their lead in the 25th minute through David Duris after Adrian Kapralik threaded in a neat through ball.

The Slovak side proved a far superior side as they needed only 11 minutes after the restart to put the game beyond Dila as Vahan Bichakhchyan held his nerve to convert a spot-kick.

Zilina did not take their foot off the gas as David Duris bagged his brace four minutes after the hour mark with Enis Fazlagic providing the assist.

Nigerian forward Taofiq Jibril drilled the final nail in Dila’s coffin in the 81st minute after Jan Bernat put the ball on a place for him and he made no mistake to hand Zilina a healthy advantage into the second leg.

Dila grabbed a consolation goal in the 84th minute through Andro Nemsadze but will need a miracle in order to qualify for the next round.
