Kenyan midfielder Amos Nondi returned to action for Dila Gori after serving a red card suspension while Ayub Timbe sat out of Vissel Kobe’s 1-2 win over Avispa Fukuoka.
Dinamo Batumbi 2-0 Dila Gori
Nondi picked up a red card in the 3-0 loss to Saburtalo which is home to fellow compatriot Alywn Tera for a second bookable offense.
The former Gor Mahia midfielder sat out of the 1-1 draw against Telavi last time out, a match that witnessed another red card as Irakli Bugridze was handed his marching orders in the 95th minute.
Batumbi I broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute through Giorgi Pantsulia after he was fed by Jaba Jiagauri as Pantsulia bagged his brace 18 minutes later this time Tornike Gaprindashvili putting the ball on a plate for him.
Nondi was introduced in the 57th minute as Gori aimed to salvage something from the game as Tsotne Mosiashvili was rested but Batumbi held on for the 2-0 win as they extended their advantage at the top of the summit.
Avispa Fukuoka 1-2 Vissel Kobe
Ayub Timbe was not included in the matchday squad by Vissel Kobe as the club failed to provide a statement on why he missed the clash after featuring in the 4-0 win over Suzuka point in the Emperor's Cup.
Kobe had a frenetic start to the game as Furuhashi Kyogo needed just two minutes to break the deadlock after being set up by Sakai Gotoku.
Fukuoka pulled one back 17 minutes later through Yamagishi Yuga but an Andres Iniesta penalty in the 80th minute ensured Kobe walked back home with all three points.
