No place like home? Selhurst Park calling Zaha back

The Ivorian has had a solid last season with Galatasaray
Crystal Palace are reportedly considering a stunning summer move to bring back Wilfried Zaha, with Galatasaray willing to let the winger leave. If successful, this would mark Zaha's third separate stint at Selhurst Park.
Zaha left Palace for Turkey on a free transfer last summer, but his current club has agreed to let him explore new opportunities just a year later.
Given the likelihood of a Premier League return, Zaha could make a surprising comeback to Palace. The Telegraph suggests a loan deal is possible, although his substantial salary might pose a challenge for interested clubs. Galatasaray is reportedly asking for a fee of around 10.5 million to cover at least part of Zaha's wages.
Despite these financial hurdles, Zaha's established Premier League credentials make him an appealing target, with Palace among the clubs open to re-signing him.
Now 31, Zaha featured in 42 matches across all competitions last season but found himself relegated to a substitute role by the end of the campaign. He made 30 league appearances and participated in nine Champions League and Europa League games. Notably, in October, Zaha scored against his former club Manchester United in Galatasaray's unexpected victory at Old Trafford.
Palace chairman Steve Parish continues to hold Zaha in high regard, and Dougie Freedman, the club's esteemed director of football, is also a fan.

Zaha debuted for Palace's first team at just 17 in March 2010 and became Sir Alex Ferguson's final signing for Manchester United in January 2013. However, under Ferguson’s successor, David Moyes, Zaha made only four appearances.
He returned to Palace on loan the following summer and then permanently in January 2015, staying for an additional eight and a half years.
Palace remains active in the transfer market, and a surprise move for Zaha could be a cost-effective way to bolster Oliver Glasner's squad. Several of Palace's young stars have attracted attention ahead of the new season, with talisman Michael Olise joining Bayern Munich for 60 million, Marc Guehi being pursued by Newcastle, and Eberechi Eze coveted by rival clubs.
