Murang'a Seal forward Titus Kapchanga is optimistic that the club will wrap up the year in style by handing Bandari and the AFC Leopards defeats.

Seal, who are having a year to remember, are set to travel to Mombasa for a date with Bandari in the penultimate match of the calendar before hosting Ingwe in their backyard.

2023 will remain one of the best years in the history of the club, as they finished second in the National Super League and were, as a result, promoted to the top tier for the first time.

Despite failing to pick up maximum points in the last four outings, Kapchanga is confident that the team will recover and beat the two league heavyweights in the remaining assignments of the year.

In the last four matches, Seal lost 2-0 to Police and 2-1 to KCB and registered 1-1 and barren draws against Ulinzi Stars and Gor Mahia, respectively.

The recent string of poor results has seen the club fall out of the top three brackets, as they are currently placed sixth with 22 points.

Kapchanga, who admitted that the forward and back lines didn't do enough in the past four matches, called for improvement ahead of their trip to the coast.

Seal will play an equally wounded Bandari, as the Dockers lost 1-0 to Nairobi City Stars last weekend at the Ruaraka Stadium, where Robinson Asenwa scored the lone goal.

"We are eyeing maximum points from the two remaining fixtures in the calendar. We want to finish what has been a good year for us on a high," said Kapchanga.

The former Kariobangi Sharks forward, who was part of the team that played a role in helping the club secure promotion, has scored two goals in the fourteen matches played.

He pledged to strive and find the back of the net in the two matches, even as he hopes to reach the ten-goal mark at the end of the season.

"I am hungry for more goals in the league. It's been a while since I scored. I hope to be on target in the two matches," he opened up.
