Verona were in front, but with ten men on the pitch, the favourites made a spectacular comeback
They met at Chelsea, cooperated at Manchester United and now they continue their mutual job at AS Roma. And despite the player's age, that special manager can still rely on him.
Jose Mourinho must be thrilled as his Roma managed to come from behind at Verona and win 3-1, mostly thanks to Nemanja Matic.
The 34-year-old Serbian veteran came in from the bench in the second half with the game tied at one, thus changing the game's momentum entirely.

Davidowicz was as clever as a fox in Rui Patricio's box to put his side 1-0 up but almost instantly made a horrible mistake - his horrendous tackle on Zaniolo was rightfully rewarded with a red card.

The visitors made the most of it through the same Zaniolo as he found the back of the net following Abraham's effort in the first-half stoppage time, which hit the bar.

Albeit we expected Roma's perfect storm in the second half, it didn't happen until Nemanja Matic stepped up. The experienced midfielder did it all by himself on the left flank with only two minutes left on the clock to provide Volpato (another substitute) with a perfect assist, and the latter placed it smoothly behind Verona's keeper for 2-1.

The same player added an assist for El Shaarawy and all of a sudden, it was 3-1 for the visitors. Verona suffered its seventh loss in a row, while Mourinho's boys celebrate a vital victory ahead of their larger-than-life clash with Lazio in the next round.
