Real Madrid storm to a 3-0 away win at Girona on Saturday night that could cost them a lot

Real Madrid are back in business, just two points below La Liga leaders Barcelona, with a game in hand after they stormed to a 3-0 away victory at Girona on Saturday night.

Led by impeccable Jude Bellingham, Los Blancos managed to find necessary composure and flow to guide them to a vital La Liga win. Not only they earned three points, but Carlo Ancelotti finally saw his star Kylian Mbappe recreating some of his old magic, as he wrapped up the game with Madrid's third goal of the game.

Before him, it was Bellingham who opened the scoring, staying strong and determined despite the pressure.

Unfortunately for the Royals, the same player, Bellingham, suffered an injury around an hour mark that forced him to leave the pitch, thus causing a major concern ahead of their crucial Champions League clash against Atalanta.

The good news for the most decorated club in the world is the fact young Arda Guler was also able to put his name on the scoreboard, proving his potential under anything but friendly environment.

It remains to be seen whether Madrid will manage to keep this strong level of performance and return to the top both domestically and in the UCL.
