Oudu is also talented in music as he plays the guitar and the piano
The 2008 Premier League champions, Mathare United, have made their first mid-season signing after landing the services of former Gor Mahia midfielder Peter Oudu.
Oudu, who prior to the move was attached to Posta Rangers, penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Slum Boys.
Although he largely had a quiet first leg at Posta, his arrival at Mathare will certainly help coach John Kamau fully stabilize the ship and sail to a respectable finish.
Currently, Mathare, who returned to the top tier last year after a season in the National Super League (NSL), are two places above the red zone.
Despite his age, Oudu is vastly experienced in top-flight football having featured for Gor Mahia before his transfer to Posta. He won the league at K'Ogalo.
He launched his top-flight career at Kariobangi Sharks with the defunct National Super League side Nairobi Stima bringing his talent to the light.
The midfielder is not only talented in football but in music as well. Oudu comfortably plays the guitar, and piano and is also a vocalist.
The Dagoretti High School alumnus links up with coach Kamau, whom he has briefly played under while at school and as a pro at Posta Rangers.
At Posta, Oudu also shared a dressing room with Sammy Imbuye.
Mathare are expected to bring more new faces after parting ways with four players as soon as the mid-season transfer window was opened on Friday 31 January.
Kevin Kimani and Christopher Koloti returned to AFC Leopards following the expiry of their loan agreements with Mathare.
Hakim Msami also returned to his parent club, Mombasa Elite, after his loan stint came to an end.
Congolese midfielder Christian Kitamba had his contract terminated on mutual agreement.
Meanwhile, Mathare have been linked to FC Talanta centre-back Ian Omondi.
