Marcelo claims man of the match award in AIK's draw against Sirius

TRhe defender netted the second goal in the dying seconds of the first half

Kenyan international Erick Ouma was crowned the man of the match when his side AIK played Sirius to a 2-2 in a Swedish top tier game staged at the Friends Arena on Saturday evening.

Ouma commonly known as Marcelo was presented the award shortly after the final whistle in a game which his contribution helped the league toppers picked a crucial at home.

The versatile defender laid hands on the award courtesy of his goal in the dying seconds of the first half where he finished off Bilal Hussein's pass.

Sirius had mounted a serious quest for the three points as they took the lead in the 22nd minute through Christian Kouakou and would upset the hosts the 39th minute as Karlsson Lagemyr doubled the advantage.

Jordan Larsson halved the deficit for AIK with two minutes left on the clock and just when the visitors though that they will head to the dressing room enjoying the slim lead, Ouma struck with the equalizer.

The former Gor Mahia man lasted on the pitch throughout but his compatriots Henry Meja and Collins Sichenje did not feature in the duel.
