The former Gor Mahia Secretary-General ran for the Federation top seat four years ago and finished behind the incumbent Nick Mwendwa after managing five votes.
Gor Mahia Sporting Director Lordvick Aduda has offered himself for the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Presidency once the elections are called next year.
Aduda has been coy over his bid despite other candidates openly strategizing through meeting various stakeholders and issuing statements, but on Thursday he confirmed to Mozzart Sport his decision, terming it an informed appeal from football stakeholders.
The FKF elections are slowly gathering pace, with the list of candidates interested in the top seat now growing immensely.
Apart from the former Gor Chief Executive Officer, others are former FKF boss Sam Nyamweya, Extreme Sports CEO Hussein Mohamed, Gor Secretary General Sam Ochola and former Harambee Stars midfielder Sam Owino, famously known as Kempes.
The former FKF CEO, who was ejected out of office in 2012, has been a fierce critic of the current regime, which assumed office in 2016.
While announcing his bid, he claimed that he is better placed to fix Kenyan football problems since he is tried and tested, noting that Gor enjoyed immense success during his time as the club CEO.
"I am offering myself for the top seat at the federation once the elections are called next year. I carry along a pool of experience in football management that I believe will heal our ailing football," he said.
Aduda has been on record over time questioning the selection of the national team players, the caliber of foreign coaches handling Harambee Stars, and how the Federation has been spending grants from the government and FIFA.
"Football stakeholders feel that time is up for someone who is development-minded to take over the leadership mantle. I have accepted, and I will give it a shot once again. Soon I will be giving out the official announcement and my manifesto." He concluded
