Stars will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten run in the tournament and boost their chances of securing a ticket to the knockout stage
Harambee Stars head coach Benni McCarthy has made interesting changes ahead of the team's third Group A match of the CHAN 2024 against Morocco.
Among the changes made are the dropping of skipper Abud Omar, who starts from the bench.
Abud has been instrumental in the opening two group stage matches against DR Congo and Angola, with his experince helping the team concede a single goal.
In his place, McCarthy has tasked Siraj Mohammed to man the left side of the defence, with Lewis Bandi starting on the right.
Bandi starts ahead of Daniel Sakari and Kevin Okumu, with Michael Kibwage partnering Sylvester Owino at the heart of the defence.
Kibwage gets into the first team ahead of Alphonce Omija, who partnered with Owino in the past two games.
Also getting a nod in the starting lineup is Ben Stanley Omondi, who fills in the rather big shoes of Austine Odhiambo.
Stars will hope to grab maximumm points and cement their stay at the summit of Group A as well as draw closer to the knockout stage of the tournament.
