K'Ogalo duo, Sharks and Ingwe aces earned call ups to the South Sudan national team.

Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) quartet of John Kuol, Dani Lual, Saad Musa and Tito Okello have been included in the South Sudan squad set to participate in the FIFA Arab World Cup Qatar 2021.

A letter from the South Sudan Football Association to the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) seen by Mozzart Sport, requested permission to grant the players a release.

“Accept our gratitude to the entire administration of Kenya Football, it has been a pleasure working together as a team with you.”

“The South Sudan Men's team will play the FIFA Arab World Cup Qatar 2021 in Doha. South Sudan vs Jordan on 21st June 2021 as part of our preparations for the match,”

“Therefore, we shall appreciate your kind office to allow the participation of these players listed below during these international sessions,” read the statement in part.

John Kuol has been an integral member of the Kariobangi Sharks squad this season and the Kariobangi-based side will suffer a huge blow as they are firmly in contention for the title.

Saad Musa has featured sparingly for AFC Leopards this season but Ingwe will have to do without depth in their squad especially with the congested fixture schedule.

Dani Lual has been on the periphery at Mathare United with his absence set to affect the bench of head coach Frank Ouna as they aim to pull themselves out of the relegation zone.

Tito Okello was on target in the 1-2 win over Sofapaka last time out and with the Jules Ulimwengu having been out of action for some time, the forward’s absence will be felt at Gor.
