Richard Odada won the league with Red Star Belgrade after being promoted to the first team this season.

Kenyan midfielder Richard Odada’s Red Star Belgrade were crowned champions of the Serbian Super Liga following their 1-0 win over Vojvodina.

Red Star boasts a 12 point advantage over eternal rivals Partizan Belgrade with four games left to the end of the season, leaving them with an unassailable lead.

This becomes the fourth consecutive title that Red Star have bagged, a prize that comes with having a chance to represent the country in the UEFA Champions League as they enter the qualifying stages.

Red Star have enjoyed a memorable campaign, going unbeaten in the season thus far and have only dropped four points the entire season.

Odada who was in the books of AFC Leopards Youth before joining the side was not included in the matchday squad and has only featured in two league games this season against Mladost Lučani and Proleter Novi Sad.

Vojvodina had the worst possible start to the game as Sinisa Sanicanin turned the ball on to his own net in the 13th minute to hand the champions-elect the lead.

Things turned from bad to worse in the 62nd minute as Djordje Djuric was handed a straight red card for an agricultural challenge on Veljko Nikolic.

Red Star held on for the win and clinched their 32nd title.

Daniel Anyembe

Kenyan defender Daniel Anyembe clocked 90 minutes for Esbjerg in the 1-0 win over Koge in the Denmark 1st Division.

Pyry Soiri scored the lone goal for Esbjerg in the 57th minute to hand Esbjerg the lead and move them to four points within the promotion playoff places.
