Mwene won his first trophy with PSV after a 4-0 whitewash of Ajax.
Kenyan defender Philipp Mwene started for PSV Eindhoven as they thumped Ajax Amsterdam 4-0 in the Dutch Super Cup with Clarke Oduor and Jonah Ayunga both featuring for Barnsley and Morecambe respectively.
Philipp Mwene
Mwene was again trusted with a start in the Dutch Super Cup after PSV earned a place in the tie by virtue of finishing second in the Eredivisie with Ajax winning the double.
PSV had a frenetic start to the game as Noni Madueke opened the scoring for PSV in the second minute going on a solo run before rippling the back of the net for his third goal in three consecutive games.
Madueke scored the second of the game a minute before the half-hour mark, as he netted from an impossible angle after being fed by Eran Zahavi.

PSV bagged the third goal of the game in the 76th minute when Yorbe Vertessen played a give and take pass with Cody Gakpo that ended with the former slotting the ball into the back of the net.
Former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze drilled the final nail in Ajax coffin with a curling effort to the far post.
Clarke Oduor
Kenyan international Clarke Oduor was handed the final 18 minutes of Barnsley’s draw against Cardiff City in the English Football League (EFL) Championship.
