KCB strike deal with the trailblazing Madira Girls’ Soccer Academy

Under this partnership, KCB Bank will pay school fees for 10 players totaling half a million for the 2023/2024 season

In a bid to meet the CAF Club Licensing rules, KCB Football Club team has entered into partnership with the recently promoted Madira Girls’ Soccer Academy.

Under this partnership, KCB Bank will pay school fees for 10 players totaling half a million for the 2023/2024 season.

The bank will also provide non-monetary support from time to time including footballs, and training equipment.

Madira Girls’ famously known as Madira Soccer Assassins were promoted to the top tier division of the Women Premier League after emerging as the overall champion of the 2022/2023 FKF women division one league.

KCB FC Chairman Bramwel Simiyu said “KCB has undoubtedly been a leader in the sports sponsorship arena with a footprint in this realm. Our involvement in sports has brought joy to thousands of people in our country and beyond. We are excited as KCB to partner with the best and it is our hope that through this partnership, we will nurture and grow young and promising talents to not only monetize their God given talents but to also change their lives positively,” said the administrator.

Madira Soccer Assassins have booked a slot in the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association games slated for August 20th in Rwanda, after their stellar performance in the just concluded Kenya Secondary Schools Association games in Kakamega.

“We have come a long way in the growth and development of women sports, education, and empowerment of the girl child. We are proud that an institution like KCB has come on board to support this course. We will continue forging this relationship forward to ensure that we touch as many lives as we possibly could,” noted Director Madira Soccer Assassins Alex Alumirah.

The team is in pool A in the East and Central Africa School games alongside GS Gatizo of Rwanda, Butere Girls, Kawempe Muslim (Uganda), Ziba Secondary (Tanzania), and St. Noa Girls of Uganda.

They will kickstart their campaign against home side GS Gatizo before locking horns with their local rivals Butere Girls on August 22nd.
