Atalanta snatch a 2-2 draw at Juventus thanks to Koopmeiners' double

Juventus dropped down to third place on the Serie A table behind AC Milan after a Teun Koopmeiners brace secured Atalanta a point on Sunday night at Turin.

The Bianconeri had just one win in the last six games going into this match, and Atalanta made sure it stayed the same after another 90 minutes.

The visitors took the lead through a clever free-kick routine, as Mario Pasalic rolled it across for Koopmeiners to sweep in first-time with the inside of the left foot from just inside the penalty area.

After the restart, Cambiaso brought the game back to a stalemate by toe-poking it over Atalanta's keeper following McKennie's assist.

The same player assisted once again soon, only this time Milik let it bounce and thumped in on the half-volley from 12 yards. It was his first Serie A goal in five months.

However, Atalanta got back on level terms too, with Koopmeiners' second, which he swept past Szczesny.

In stoppage time, Moise Kean and Federico Gatti both went for the same header on a Chiesa cross, so it stayed 2-2 on the scoreboard.
