Sassuolo beat the black and whites in another reality check
Juventus, the most popular club in Italy, was already having a poor season on and off the pitch - and it took a turn for the worse on Sunday night when they lost a team hardly anyone supports - Sassuolo. The contrast between the two teams was visible on the pitch as well.

Neroverdi won 1-0 thanks to Gregoire Defrel's second-half poacher's finish, but it was the manner of the defeat that will be a big worry to everyone who supports Juve. Massimiliano Allegri's team was short on ideas, unorganised and without an edge in attack.
Juventus midfielder Nicolò Fagioli (22 years) made a poor clearance that lead to goal against Sassuolo, Allegri subbed him off immediately. Dude went to the bench and started crying.

Juventus are still hoping that a late run of wins would see them grab a Champions League place despite their 15-point deduction, but tonight's result most likely put an end to their unrealistic wishes.
Forgotten man Paul Pogba came on as a second-half substitute for the visitors at the Mapei Stadium, but he was symbolic of the club he represents: he has a big, famous name but plays poorly.
Juventus lose the third Serie A match, this time 1-0 to Sassuolo, in their last five and sit nine points outside the top four with eight matches remaining. 😬 pic.twitter.com/G6vvv533qU

Sassuolo may not have a match on the continent to look forward to, but the Neroverdi’s first win in three might fuel faint hopes that they can sneak into one of Serie A's European positions.
