K'Ogalo center half using break to erase mistakes from his game
Gor Mahia centre back Andrew Juma has assured the club's vast fan base of refined show once the ban on sporting activities is lifted.
Juma who is in his maiden season at the club after joining from the 2008 league champions Mathare United acknowledged that he has had a false start but he is promising to step ahead of the much awaited resumption.
The defender who is christened as Roma admitted that he struggled in the first months at Gor thanks to the sky-high expectations laid on him to fill in the void left by Joash Onyango as well as the the new philosophy which heavily contrasts that of Mathare.
I had an amazing training session with @harambee__stars under the tutelage of coach @GhostMulee. At the end of the day, we are not a team because we work together, but due to the fact that we respect, trust and care for each other.#StrongerTogether pic.twitter.com/scSTxz0yy5

“I had begun realizing my best form before the break came but it will not bar me from working hard to give Gor fans something to smile about once the government allows us back. Life was a bit tough in the initial months at Gor but my confidence levels shot up within a short time and began adapting to their style of play. The fans should expect a different player when the league resumes,” he disclosed.
Juma who was part of the Harambee Stars squad which scooped bronze in the 2019 edition of the Cecafa Senior Challenge held in Uganda said despite the suspension of sports, he was putting in a shift individually to erase the mistakes which attracted a lot of criticism from the fans.

The towering player who ranked his agility and form at ninety percent before the presidential decree said he taken the criticism positively and vowed to respond to it by giving the best on the pitch.
“There is no holiday for me as I seek to regain the form I was riding on while at Mathare. I am doubling my gym and ball work during the break just to improve before we restart,” he added.
