The team has won four of it's last five matches
Bandari have been on a roll from the time coach John Baraza succeeded Twahir Muhiddin at the club last month, as the team has won four of its last five matches.
The Dockers were struggling with form early in the season, compelling veteran tactician Muhiddin to throw in the towel shortly after their 2-0 defeat to Bidco United at the Kasarani Annex on October 9.
The management bestowed the responsibility to lead the team on Baraza, who served as an assistant to Muhiddin, a decision that has certainly proved masterstroke if the results in previous matches are anything to go by.
Under Baraza, Bandari have won four matches and lost once, scaling to the top five with 19 points, three off-log leaders Posta Rangers.
Skipper Andrew Juma weighed on their recent form under Baraza, revealing that the former Kenyan international had been at the centre of their purple patch.
Juma said Baraza's excellent relationship with the players, giving a fair chance to each and every player, and ability to get the best from the playing unit are the sources of their inspiration.
"He has very good chemistry with the players. He never stops encouraging us to give our best for the sake of the club and our careers. He is a fair coach and tactically good," said Juma.
Juma who previously played for Gor Mahia before joining the coastal darling, said there was a possibility for Baraza to be the first coach to see the club win the elusive league title.
Despite their deep pockets, Bandari have never won the league title, but to their credit, they have won the domestic cup, with their latest triumph being in 2018 under coach Bernard Mwalala.
"We have what it takes to go for it. We only need to be consistent throughout," said the former Mathare United man.
