The player was loaned out to Commandos contrary to his wish.

Kakamega Homeboyz attacking midfielder Brian Sifa is a disappointed man after the club opted to loan him out to Division One side Green Commandos for the second time.

Homeboyz loaned out the youngster alongside the trio of Enock Masinza and Ainea Ndete and Brian Buleti to Commandos in June to gain more playing time and exposure.

The four budding players were part of the Homeboyz team that finished second in the top flight but none made debut at the top level given the competition for playing time offered by the senior players.

The club loaned out the four to Commandos after the top flight season came to a close early in June and would recall them after the third tier campaign elapsed.

Sifa revealed that the club honchos arrived at the decision to send them back to Commandos again last week contrary to his wish of remaining in the senior team and contest for playing time with the senior players.

"I am upset with the move by the club to loan me out again. My wish was to stay with the senior team and fight for my place in the first team as well as to play in the top league. Downgrading from the top flight to the third tier was not in my plan at all, " he shared his thoughts.

With the transfer window still open, the 18-year old hopes that he will secure at least a move to the second tier should status quo remain.

He disclosed that he was not willing to play in the less fancied third tier as he his dream was to either feature in the top or the second tier.

"I still have hope that the new technical bench will recall and assess us. If that will not come to pass, then I will have to find a club that is either in top or second tier. This does not mean that I no regard to the decision made by Homeboyz, it's all about being ambitious, "he added.
