The winger managed five goals in the first leg of the season
FC Talanta forward Francis Kahiro has revealed his target of doubling the goal tally he achieved in the first leg of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League season in the final stanza that gets underway this weekend.
Kahiro who is the leading club scorer in the season managed five goals in the first leg that certainly went a long way in ensuring that the league debutants were firmly in the top ten bracket.
Other forwards who have contributed immensely to Talanta's good run are the duo of Mohamed Sebi and the experienced Edwin Lavatsa who have seven goals in between them.

The lanky winger says he will be seeking to hit more than ten goals in the second leg, a target that he believes will see him clinch the 'Golden Boot' in his maiden season in the top flight.
With Talanta set to start the second leg against the wobbling Mathare United, Kahiro disclosed his plan of capitalizing onthe 2008 league champions' dismal run and enrich his tally as well as get off the final half's blocks resoundingly.

" I will be pursuing to net more than ten goals in the second leg of the season. Getting more than fifteen goals in the season will put me in a better place to take home the best scorers award," he said.
Meanwhile, the club is closing in on the services of former Posta Rangers forward Dennis Oalo who has been training with them since ditching the mailmen.
Talanta have already acquired Thomas Wainaina from Kakamega Homeboyz who is expected to fill in the void that was left by Evans Maliachi who went the opposite side.
