Real Madrid star on loan at Tottenham elbowed - it seems - purposely Ondrej Kudela who previously offended Glasgow Rangers' player Glen Kamara, swearing at him, "you f****** monkey"
Gareth Bale is maybe not at his highest level of performances on the pitch at the moment, but the Real Madrid winger on loan at Tottenham, and of the best players in the world, proves he's an outstanding guy off the ground as well.
Albeit it's impossible to come up with a 100 per cent undeniable conclusion, it seems that Bale found himself yesterday in a role of a true avenger. During the FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifying tie between Wales and the Czech Republic, the Welshman had a vicious tackle on the away team player Ondrej Kudela. He struck him brutally with an elbow that looked as if it was everything but an unpurposed move coming from the famous forward.

In any other situation, it would be filed under the regular footballing affair. Still, bearing in mind Kudela's recent sins, it's very reasonable to think that Bale wanted to set records straight. Less than a month ago, the Czech player allegedly racially abused Glasgow Ranger's midfielder Glen Kamara, swearing at him, "you f****** monkey" during the Europa League tie, which he featured for his Slavia Prague.
Rangers' coach Steven Gerrard and lots of others seek severe punishment for Kudela and his team, but so far, nothing has happened in that direction. With that said - and with all Wales players wearing shirts with a slogan 'Show racism a red card' before yesterday's game - maybe it's no wonder Bale did what he did. And, in truth, no one can blame him for that. Sometimes the justice is slow but sure, especially in the hands of a world-class football player.
