Former Marseille coach couldn't agree with the management about the upcoming transfer window

Lazio and Igor Tudor have parted ways after only three months of working together, as reported by all relevant Italian media, with the news first broken by the well-known transfer insider Gianluca Di Marzio. In recent days, the club from Rome has been working intensively on terminating the cooperation due to growing tension between the two sides. The core issue revolves around the club and the coach being unable to agree on the transfer policy for the upcoming transfer window, which led the now-former coach of the Biancocelesti to make the unpopular decision that resulted in the termination of their relationship. He tried to find common ground with President Claudio Lotito and Sporting Director Angelo Fabiani regarding the transfer strategy, but they could not reach any agreement.

Tudor arrived at Lazio in March following the departure of Maurizio Sarri and signed a one-year contract with an option for an additional season. He did a fairly decent job until the end of the season, securing six wins, three draws, and two losses in eleven matches across Serie A and the Coppa Italia. As a potential successor, Marco Baroni stands out, who is on the verge of leaving Verona. He has already had a meeting with Adriano Galliani about taking over Monza. Another option is Ivan Jurić, who has left Torino, and the media also mention the sensational possibility of Maurizio Sarri returning! But, considering the amount of money which Lolito is prepared to give, and the ambitions of the club, it seems that in the end it will be Baroni.
