Gremio allows Suarez to join Messi in January 2024

Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets are back together, and the next step in the reunion of former Barcelona players could be the arrival of Luis Suarez. The news that Inter Miami is interested in the engagement of the experienced Uruguayan striker went around the world a little more than ten days ago, but the centre forward's contract with Gremio for another year and a half remained as an obstacle.

Gremio’s management understood the goalscorer's desire to try his luck in a different environment and accepted that instead of at the end of 2024, the player should be released a bit earlier.
