Zigah is currently attached to Biashara United

Former Vihiga Bullets attacking midfielder and Ghanaian Christian Zigah is open to returning to the Kenyan football in the next transfer window.

Zigah ditched Bullets in August last year for Tanzanian Premier League outfit Biashara United but he says he is angling at plying his trade in the top flight.

The 21-year old arrived in Kenya back in 2019 in search for greener pastures only to land at the Nairobi Sub county champions Bongonaya FC following a late arrival for trials.

The dreadlocked midfielder says through the ASA Football Agency, he had landed an invite at Tusker but jetted in moments to the closure of the transfer window leaving him stranded.

He however secured a place in the Komarock Estate based club where he kept fit until Bullets who were in their maiden season in the National Super League came calling in August 2020.

Zigah who has five goals against his name in the Tanzanian league says he is open to offers precisely top flight clubs.

The player revealed that before Francis Baraza spotted him, former Kenyan champions AFC Leopards, league returnees Nairobi City Stars, NSL debutants MCF and Kangemi All Stars were hot on his heels.

"I hope to come back to Kenya and have a test of the Premier League. I enjoyed playing in the NSL with Bullets before joining Biashara. I would have joined Tusker in 2019 had I not arrived late for trials but I am now conversant with the Kenyan football calendar. I had offers from Leopards and Nairobi City Stars before leaving for Mara, " he disclosed.

Zigah lauded former Biashara boss Baraza and his predecessor Patrick Odhiambo for fine tuning him to the player he is today.

The latter succeeded the former Kenyan international in March after Kagera Sugar won his signature.

" The two coaches are amazing and their understanding of the game is commendable. They are the reason Biashara has performed well this season," he added.
