The England international and the former Liverpool winger find the back of Stuttgart's net for another piece of silverware

Bayern Munich still hasn't won the battle with VfB Stuttgart for signing prolific striker Nick Woltemade. The longest ongoing transfer saga of German football in 2025 is not over. Still, one thing is clear - the Bavarians won the German Supercup by defeating Stuttgart with Woltemade in the team on Saturday night, 2-1.

Vincent Kompany's side did it at MHP Arena in Stuttgart, clinching their 11th Supercup title, named after legendary Franz Beckenbauer, and proving they're the most dominant team in Germany.

The hosts had their chances, but Woltemade failed to score against his maybe future teammates, while Manuel Neuer once again proved his class.

On the other end, Harry Kane deserves credit for pushing this tie into the Bavarians' hands. After Woltemade's miss, the former Tottenham forward punished Stuttgart's defence for a mistake near the edge of the box, heading it home for an opener, 1-0.

Kane again and Michael Olise were close to doubling the visitors' lead, but Luis Diaz ultimately crushed the rival's resistance. It was a lovely team action, with many passes involved before unmarked Diaz headed it home on his official Bayern Munich debut.

Leweling's consolation goal in the dying seconds of the stoppage time couldn't change much, as the favoruites held onto the lead to grab the trophy.
