Gasperini fumes at his player's goal celebration: "I won't tolerate it anymore!"

Zaniolo scored a winner against Cagliari, but his coach was anything but happy because of what followed

Nicolo Zaniolo is doing his best to get back on the track at Atalanta, where he arrived on loan from Galatasaray.

The 25-year-old former AS Roma winger seems to be enjoying his time with the Europa League winners, as he has already netted twice in this campaign. The second goal, which he netted yesterday against Cagliari, was crucial for a 1-0 win.

He celebrated it ecstatically with the rest of the team, but that didn't seem to please his boss, Gian Piero Gasperini, too much. To put it politely...

"I will no longer tolerate it, him provoking and igniting the rival's supporters after every goal. This is the second time this has happened to him. Cagliari were in decline and would have fallen psychologically after the goal if he had not revived it with his provocations. With such behaviour, he ignited the entire stadium. Obviously, some people need more time to mature and to pick up the mentality of this club and team", Gasperini said after the game.

Despite Atalanta being the table toppers, Gasperini doesn't want to talk about the Scudetto.

"At this moment, we are not ready to fight for the title. More precisely, a good part of the team is ready for that challenge, but not all of them. Some players need to become more mature and serious in various aspects. When and if that happens, then we can talk about further steps. Despite ten consecutive victories, nothing has changed in our minds and we continue on the same path we have followed so far," concluded he.
