There are Brazilians out there who are not supporting their countryman's behavior
Vanderlei Luxemburgo is a Brazilian. He used to coach Real Madrid and was the manager of Brazil when they won the Coppa America in 1999. He managed almost every single Brazilian club during his long coaching career. On one hand, he knows the Brazilian mentality perfectly, on second, he knows how a club like Real operates. And with all this ‘pedigree‘, it would be quite logical that he supports Vinicius Jr., currently the best Brazilian player. But Luxemburgo acts totally opposite. He disagrees with Real‘s forward and even dismisses the ‘racism‘ claims regarding his Ballon d‘Or snub.
Speaking for the “Benja Me Mucho“ podcast, Luxemburgo pointed out that Vinicius‘ on-field behavior is what provokes other people and gets him into trouble.
"I think he provokes a lot of the persecution he suffers by doing things he shouldn't do. Vini receives a blow, he gets up and attacks the opposing player as if you couldn't receive a blow in football... Imagine Pelé, the number of blows he received. Zico, the same. Vini gets annoyed at receiving blows as if it were a persecution linked to the fact that he is black" said Luxemburgo.

Former Real coach also gave another example, from last season‘s Champions League duel with Bayern Munich, In that video, which became viral long time ago, Joshua Kimmich politely returns the ball a to Vinicius Jr, only to see the Brazilian threw it on the ground before teasing his German opponent.
