Former Mathare forward Dani Lual happy to open goal account in Czech Republic

Former Mathare United forward Dani Lual is delighted to have opened his goal account in the Czech Republic after netting five times when MFK Vyskov junior side humiliated FC Veseli nad Moravou last weekend.

Lual moved to Czech in February where he inked a two-year long deal with Vyskov’s senior team but was last weekend relegated to play for the junior side alongside other five first team members owing to the international break.

The decision by the technical bench to field the senior players in the game was deemed as a move to keep them fit and active for the time major leagues across the globe are on a break to pave way for national team duties.

The South Sudanese striker last played at the competitive level in August last year with Mathare who cashed him the same month upon striking an agreement with Vyskov.

Lual completed his hat-trick before half time having kissed the back of the net in the 18th ,41st 44th minutes and would add two more in the second half in the 58th and 63rd minutes of the game.

“I’m happy to have played my first game scoring my first hat-trick my first game and in a single game. The good start gives me confidence to fight for what brought me here and probably it will open bigger opportunities. It is my belief that I surpass the ten goal mark before the season ends,” he said in a telephone interview.

Save from hitting double digits, the towering forward reckons that featuring for the junior side and banging goals will see him regain his form and consequently get elevated to the senior side.
