Record Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia went back to winning ways after a comfortbale 2-0 win over Muhoroni Youth in a match played at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homabay on Sunday.
Benson Omala opened the scoring for K'Ogalo just after the quarter-hour mark with Chris Ochieng finishing the job in stoppage time.
With the win, Gor is now second in the FKFPL log with 24 points from 12 matches, a point less than table-toppers Posta Rangers who have played the same number of matches.
Murang'a Seal 1-2 KCB
Murang'a Seal's fairy tale run was brought to a screeching halt by KCB FC who humbled them 2-1 at the St Sebastien Park in Murang'a.
Francis Kahiro and Haniff Wesonga scored for the Bankers with Batts Awita pulling a consolation for Seal a minute to stoppage time.
Nzoia Sugar 1-3 Kenya Police FC
At the Sudi Stadium in Bungoma, homeboys Nzoia Sugar could not withstand the pressure of the blue boys as they succumbed to a 1-3 loss to Kenya Police FC.
David Okoth, David Cheche and Tito Okello found the back of the net for Police while Nzoia's only goal was scored by Joseph Oyugi.
