FKF Div One: Five-star Green Commandos dismantle Muhoroni Young move top in Zone B

Green Commandos stormed to the top of Football Kenya Federation division one Zone B league on Sunday with a 5-0 demolition of Muhoroni Young on Sunday to extend their unbeaten streak to eight games .

Victor Maliachi, Ali Abubakar, Christopher Koloti, Ben Nyapola and Peter Omaya were all on target as Ramadhan Balala's men moved three points ahead of rivals Zoo FC and Luanda Villa.

It took Commandos 10 minutes to find a breakthrough when they opened the scoring via Abubakar. The 23-year old wriggled away from two defenders inside Young penalty area ,before pocking home beyond a statue-esque Muhoroni keeper for his first of the season.

Victor Maliachi who had set up Ali for the opener would find time five minutes before the interval to get himself on the score sheet too.

Dancing beyond Muhoroni Young backline, Christopher Koloti tucked a composed right - rooted strike into the top corner ,upping his tally of the season to astonishing ten goals and putting the match beyond Got Alila based club reach heading into the break.

Green Commandos looked far from satisfied after the restart baying for more goals, Nyapola crunched a left footed strike into the top right corner for the school boys fourth before Omaya rounded up the scores with a well taken kick from the edge of the box.

Zetech Titans 0-2 Balaji EPZ

Elsewhere, in the only Zone A match on Sunday, Balaji Epz survival quest got a boost as a first half brace from George Ouma Seme handed Andrew Kanuli's charges a two nil victory over Zetech Titans at Ruiru Stadium.

The win was Kanuli's fourth in five matches and lifts them fifteenth on the standings five points closer to safety whereas Zetech suffered a fourth defeat in five games which sees the Ruiru based club drop to ninth on league log.
