Sydney Ochieng' overjoyed after securing a place in the last eight for K'Ogalo where they will face off with Bidco United on Sunday afternoon.
Ochieng' came off the bench replacing Clifton Miheso with two minutes to play in regulation time and ended up scoring Gor Mahia's second goal deep in stoppage time and seal the win for K'Ogalo,
"I am very happy to have come off the bench and seal the victory for my team. Our focus now is on winning the semis, proceed to the final and win the Cup, it is a direct way for us to play continental football and that is our target," Ochieng' told Mozzart Sport.

Ocheing' also added that the team had settled on defending the solo goal by Karim Abdoul but he surged forward the moment he saw Frank Odhiambo make that forward foray, breaking away from his defensive duties
"I decided to join in the attack. We were sitting back defending our one goal and the set piece, but I saw some space and decided to try and see what it could bring. Frank (Odhiambo) played in a good ball, and I scored," Ochieng added.
Ochieng' joined Gor Mahia from Western Stima last year at a time when there was a mass exodus at the Kisumu-based club after Kenya Power and Lighting Company pulled out as their main sponsor.
Since joining the team, Ochieng' has had limited playing time, coming out mostly from the bench in several matches.
